Back At Home

We've been home since Friday afternoon. Everyone's doing pretty well. Sam started out sleeping 5 hours the first couple of nights, but got his nights & days mixed up last night. We're hoping that will work its way out sooner rather than later.

Here are some more pictures for everyone.

Introducing Samuel Gillespie

I'm home for a few minutes, and wanted to put some of Sam up here.

Samuel Gillespie Bacigalupo
Born- 9/26 @8:23 am
Weight- 7 lbs 10.25 ounces
Length- 18 inches

Mom is doing great & may actually get to go home a day early. Sam is nice and healthy. And, Bella absolutely loves her little brother. She has a harder time leaving Sam at the hospital, than she does leaving Karen.

Oh...Dad's doing well, too.

A Few Hot Moments from August

Bella enjoys her new stool that GDKnott made for her. She can now do her favorite thing in the world: Check herself out!

Bella takes a moment to cheese for the camera.

What a BIG girl! Bella at 22 months old.

Bella posing in front of her Tiger umbrella (since she was a little skeptical of standing under it at first).

No one has been working harder than Bella preparing for Baby Sam's arrival. She has been practicing with her bunny.

Bella shows the sign for "change."

Summer Fun

Bella helping out around the house. We have learned she knows a lot about installing and operating dishwashers--at least, more than we know! Maybe she will learn a thing or two from her Granddaddy and Uncle Dave!

Bella's first visit to the Adventure Science Center:

Bella's favorite part. Watch out!

Future Surgeon? We have learned that she can handle tools!

Are these two astronauts really ready for outer space?

Bella's New Job & Sam Makes His First Appearance

Bella has a new job around the house. She loves to help wash the cars, and her specific job is to wash the Memphis logo that goes on the back of the Xterra.

We found out that Bella's going to have a little brother. We're going to name him Samuel Gillespie, and call him Sam. Since we got a good picture or two from the ultrasound, here is a good picture of his profile.
